Every new beginning is the end of another beginning… ( … and yes this will be the future home of my Modern Tennis Academy)

Jay here… Thank you so much for stopping by my future home for some of the best elite tennis instruction in the world.

I whipped up this page super quick so I do not have to address all 100 of you separately… PLEASE forward this to others that I may have forgotten to include!

Palm Beach Gardens Tennis club decided to terminate my contract with them to teach there:

There was no reason given, nor do I expect one:

It seems Michelle Jackson, one of my D2 team members, decided that I was a little too engaged in making the team better, the only one who was not on board, and took it upon herself to report that to the powers that be at the club, and thus the result. Apparently going above and beyond is penalized egregiously when 1 out of 14 members is unhappy because she was stuck near the bottom line, even lost when I moved her up one line, and is the worst player on the team… deja vous from last year all over again. Its is always the worst players that cause the most trouble. They think if they replace coaches, the new coaches will automatically promote them to higher lines. I heard from other team members that she also caused trouble in their other family activities outside of tennis, and from other pros that she was a bully and tried to get things her way or the highway… no surprise. I feel badly when my team makes public their investigation, this player’s life is over at the club and she will most likely have to move to another club in the middle of the season, because she will be forever labeled as the girl who got Coach Jay fired in the middle of a Championship season after we had a horrid season last year.

Well I want to thank her for sending me to my next stage in life again, which will be FAR more fruitful than the past 3 years. I will be working less hours and earning higher revenue and less responsibilities.

This means:

• I am not giving up on any of you… I am not quitting tennis just yet… in fact this is better for me in that now I get to do most of my lessons at Bear Lakes where most of you know is a much better financial situation for me and if necessary, I can still do some lessons at Ironhorse when they have courts available. We will still stay in communication and most of my people are already in the know about all this anyways.

• To my beloved teams, Open Blue and D2 Blue, I apologize for this happening. Contact me privately for future options. I will also be in touch with most of you anyways again.

• I understand many of you are unhappy with the way things are run at Gardens, but without 100% of the info (I mean maybe Evil Jay took over me during the night and destroyed some critical paperwork in the office the other day, who knows)… feel free to do what you want, but do not be harsh towards the Gardens staff and the powers that be, stay classy, and we can all move on. Nothing you say will change the past and I am sure most of them are doing their best.

• This will finally give me time to publish my 2000 hours of YouTube videos I have in storage, so even if you never take another lesson from me, you can still learn from me from my free content coming up.

• This will also allow me to finally writing and publish my first book… on Tennis of course!

• I am still continuing my CBD business on the side so any of you who suffer from pain, anxiety, or skin issues please contact me (CBDTweet.com)

• I also continue to design and develop websites and mobile apps for personal and corporate clients (Dathaeus.com) as well as professional graphic design and marketing / SEO, all I have also been doing for decades

• I know many of you are waiting on me but I am almost there launching my NFT Marketplace for real artists and creators as well as realtors, salespeople, and more! Basically think of it as a digitized Amazon and eBay.

• I will also continue doing part time IT / Computer work – fixing/replacing/tutoring in computers (viruses, malware cleanup, etc…) and all tech products for my local people

• Creating the ultimate online social platform to replace Facebook/Google/Wikipedia as the leading information site on the internet… THIS is my lifetime dream flagship project since 1999 and everything I do everyday is to raise funds for this one project

• Golf – For those of you who may not know, I moved down there to PGA National to be a golf playing professional. As in all sports, I emphasize physics, physiology, and psychology in all my lessons. If you master all 3 aspects, we can always minimize the bad days and increase the good ones. I give private lesson mostly on course where I take you out and we play and learn.

• Sports Psychology & Life Coaching – For those of you who know me, you are familiar with how much emphasis I put in the mental games of sports. It can literally comprise of more than 50% of your game’s success. I have always incorporated these tips in my lessons but I also hold sessions off the court for game analysis and the sports psychology for your game. In my opinion, the way you live life, how you play sports and handle day to day events are all intertwined, and we need to find the best balance to achieve optimal performance in everything we do.

• And ULTIMATELY, my other dream is to open a next-gen science lab to work and create technology that will make a real difference in our future, like fusion and warp drives for real space travel, batteries that last years not hours, and nanites that can cure or fix any ailment in humans or machines (… in case you didn’t know, yes, I am one of “those” guys LOL).

Tennis Ladder

As some of you may know, I have starting to build a ladder or players, male/female of all ages. I always have so many people coming to ask me for players they can play with outside of lessons. The only thing I require is your joy of playing and desire to improve and move up the rankings! The ladder will be continuously posted on this website and you will be free to challenge whoever you would like with certain rules. It will be an open league from beginners to professional and everyone in between. This will start with singles but eventually I will build a system that will also incorporate doubles. This will also be a great networking opportunity for you players. Stay tuned!

New Indoor Tennis Academy & Club

A few pros and I have been talking about interest in creating another club or an indoor tennis facility, no drama, high end academy style with open court play. Yes, indoor is expensive but considering the weather here in the summer, rains almost every day, and how many people have issues with the sun and heat even in the season time, we believe an indoor club can be highly successful, as successful as the pros running them. I would be willing to lead the project if enough people are willing to invest in a project so you can also let me know your interest in the feedback form below. We would be the only premium club with indoor courts in the area with elite instructions for juniors and adults.

Stringing

If anyone would like me to continue stringing your racquets, PLEASE definitely let me know in the note you are sending me if you would like me to continue stringing you. For those of you who don’t know, I live in PGA National and you can drop off or I can pickup. Remember, you should be getting restrung at least however many times per year as you play per week. If you play 4 times a week, you should be getting it strung every 3 months. And always use the thinnest highest quality string you can afford to play with that does not pop too quickly, and the lowest tension possible that gives you enough control. And remember to change your grip at least every 7-10 hours of play! (I know, shocking right)
